THE OLYMPIA SHOW.
CLOSING FUNCTION
The third Olympia Motor Exhibition was brought to a close on Saturday evening. At a function held afterwards in the Olympia tearooms, Mr. F. G. Farrell, president erf the Auckland Motor Trade Association, said that the show had been exceptionally good from a business point of view, although the attendance was considerably less than at the first and second Olympias. Mr J. F. Cousins, general secretary of the New Zealand Motor Trade Association, said that the conditions were depressing for organising an exhibition, but there was a fine spirit of good fellowship among the members of the trade with a view to furthering the advance of the motor vehicle in all parts of the Dominion. Auckland was to be coniratulated upon the success of it 3 third Olvmpia, and it was clear that the motor trade had become one of the leading organisations in the countrj. Mr. G. M. White, chairman of the management committee, was presented with a cheque in recognition of his services at the exhibition.
