PAPAKURA GOLF CLUB.

AX.VUAL BALL. The Papakura Golf Club held its i annual ball in the Paragon Theatre laat I Thursday. There was a good attendance in of the weather, which was very wet and stormy. The ballroom and supper room were tastefully decor- j ated with the club's colours of blue and ' gold, and the supper tables with blue and gold streamers, violets, wattle and spring bulbs. The supper arrangements were controlled by a committee consisting of Me?dames Elliott, Johns-tone, Miss Harris, Messrs. Pavilt, Elliott, Jobnstone, Tilaton and the secretary (Mr. Jones).
