Rain Interferes With Last Round Results. PLAY RESTRICTED. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 3. Owing to continuous rain during the last round of county cricket, most of the matches were not counted, as there was less than six hours' play. For against Oxford, Titchmarsh made 52. For Hampshire against Notts Kennedy scored 53 and Mead SI. Bowling for Notts, S. Staples took six wickets for 69 runs. For Somerset against Yorkshire, White made 56 not out. Bowling for Glamorgan against Sussex, Mercer took six wickets for 48 runs. For Kent against Leicester, Capes took seven wickets for 20 runs. For Derby against Gloucester, Hutchinson made 102. Bowling for Gloucester, Mills took seven wickets for 98 runs. This match was drawn. FAST TIMES. v t MOTOR GRAND PRIX. (Received 1.30 p.m.) PAHIS, July 3. Bendist won the Automobile Club's Grand Prix over a distance of 375 miles 1 in 4 hours, 45 minutes and 41 and one--1 fifth seconds.
