YOUNG MAORI PARTY.
CONGRESS AT WANGANUI.
'By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WANGANUI, this day. 'A congress of the newly-formed young Maori Party was held in Wanganui yesterday. There was a large attendance of delegates from various parts of the •Western Maori electorate.
The movement is now the object of widespread interest, and representatives ■were appointed in the various districts. It was stated at the congress that the movement has the unanimous backing of the Maoris in the various districts. The headquarters of the ' movement will continue to be at Wanganui.
