ETCHINGS EXHIBITION.
For the first week of the loan exhibition of etchings, which is being- held in the Art Gallery, the attendance"has been surprisingly good, no fewer than 1236 people having visited it in this time. This averages out at 17(3 per day. There afpears to be no abatement in the interest shown, and it is confidently expected that during .the remaining fortnight of the exhibition the average will be more than maintained.
