SPECTACULAR FIRE
PRODUCE STORE DESTROYED
OWNER LOSES HEAVILY. (liy I'elegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. A spectacular fire occurred at 1.30 o'clock this morning, when a large produce store filled with chaff, barley, cowgrass and sundries, was destroyed. It was a building of corrugated iron and ownefl by the Wairau River Board, and insured for £1700. The contents were insured for .€4OOO in the Commercial Union. Mr. A. M. Corry, produce inorrhnnt, the occupier of the building, estimates his loss at £2000.
