Lady Robertson, of London, arrived from " Wellington yesterday, and is amongst the guests at the Grand Hotel. * -» Madame Paderewski and Miss Lubke are among the suests at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. Percival James is motoring through to Wellington to meet her parents, Sir George and Lady who intend visiting Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Dove (England) who have been touring the Dominior, arrived last evening by the Rotorua express. The Misses Sybil and -Josephine Mulvany, of Auckland, have just returned to London from a most enjoyable visit to Dublin, Ireland. Miss Mary E. Herbert, of Auckland, intends making a prolonged pleasure trip in Great Britain and Europe. She will spend at least two months iu London before making a tour of the southern counties of England. Her plans after that, writes our London correspondent, are not yet settled. Mrs. D. Petrie, of Auckland, and her friend Mrs. A. G. Whiteliorn, arrived in England on April 17, after a very enjoyable trip via Panama. Mrs. Petrie, who is at present staying at Hotel Lindsey, Pem bridge Square, London, hopes to extend her visit over twelve months, and will see as much as possible of England and Scotland, the Norwegian Fiords, and the Continent before returning to New Zealand via Suez. She intends to go north in a few days to visit relatives. W w w Miss E. Simpson, of Auckland, who recently arrived in England, is on a pleasure trip and will spend about two months in London before touring the south of England, the Scottish lakes and Ireland. Miss Simpson, who is travelling with a party of New Zealand friends, will then spend some time on the Continent, visiting France, Belgium, Germany and Italy, making a long stay in Italy. She will probably return to the Dominion via America, after an absence of two years.
