INCENDIARISM.
WORKMEN'S SHEDS ON FIRE. DISCOVERT BY BRIGADE. ANOTHER MALICIOUS FALSE ALAK.M The City Fire Brigade was called out at 8.52 last night to attend on outbreak which occurred in one of the portable workmen's sheds parked in a vacant section in Sturdee Street, near the Citv Markets. While extinguishing the fire in one shed the brigade discovered smoke issuing from another. Ou investigation a piece of wick soaked in kerosene was found burning in the drawer in the shed. The drawer had been left partly open. Slight damage was done. The brigade believe that both outbreaks were the act of nn incendiarist. The sheds are owned by the City Council. Prior to receiving this summons the brigade was called to Quay Street at 6.28 last evening, but on arrival found that a malicious false alarm had been given. This is the fifth malicious false alarm received by the brigade during the last two weeks.
