CLAIM AGAINST BUILDER.
JUDGMENT BY CONSENT. HAMILTON, this dny. The case of Ellis and Burnand, v. Thomas Deanc. builder, of Auckland, which came before Mr. Justice Herdman last week, was to-day mentioned. It was stated that defendant, from whom £965 was claimed, had agreed to pay plaintiffs £750.
By consent of counsel, the judge made an order adjourning the action sine die, and referring the balance of the claim to the Registrar for investigation. Costs, £25. were allowed plaintiff.
