GREATER AUCKLAND.
'• The arguments used by '"Ratepayer No. 2* r in favour of joining the city will not hold water. He says perhaps 1 am on the sewerj Well. I have several houses in Mount Eden, \ t and not one of them is on the sewer. I realise s it will cost a lot of money to put sewers i* e rock country, aud we will have to foot the i bill just the same, whether it is done by the j city or Mount Eden. In regard to the trams e it would he far better if the si reels were ; clear of them. We would got cheaper and t, faster transit with buses. As for us using th» s city lihraries because we have none of our s own. well, the vast majoritv of the resident* tt e of Mount Eden, like myself, cannot find tin* s ; c j to spent in public libraries.
