LYCEUM CLUB.
The Bridge Circle of the Lyceum Club, under the convenorship of Mrs. Austin and Miss Salek, as secretary, met last night, and held its first open night of the new season. The lounge was beautifully decorated with huge bowls of hydrangeas and greenery. On arriving the guests were welcomed by Mrs. Austin, who wore a frock of black georgette, beaded in jet, and Miss Salek, who was in black souple satin with front of gold lace and gold lace finishings. Amongst those present were Mrs. W. H. Parkes, Mrs. Buscke, Mrs. Prior, Williams, Mrs. Coleman, Mrs. Plummer, Mrs. Watkins, Mrs. A. Bullock, Mrs. Webster, Mrs. H. Richards, Mrs. Keesing, Mrs. Bridson, Mrs. Hammond White, Mrs. Hamilton Smith, Mrs. J. Smith, Mrs. Raymond, Mrs. Lindsay, Mrs. Hume, Mrs. Tiarks, Mrs. Ferguson, Mrs. Perrau, Mrs. C. Owen, Mrs. E. Austin, Mrs. Sykes, Mrs. McCoy, Mrs. King, Mrs. Fitzherbert, Mrs. A. Sutherland, Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Cockroft, Mrs. J. Frater, Mrs. Raymond, Mrs. H.
