RUGBY FOOTBALL.
PEACE CUP FIXTURES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The Management Committee of tha Thames Bushy l"ni<m met on Thursday, Mr. K. M. Bliodcs presiding. The St. Helier's l>ay Club advised that the Auckland Union had confirmed June IS as the date for the match with the Thames juniors. The secretary notified that the following programme of "the I'each Cup challenges against Thames had been sent to 'he various unious :—July 0. Hamilton, 16th Morrinnville. 30th Cambridge, August 20, Hauraki Plains. 27th Matamata. September 3, Waipa, 17th Piako. 24th Paeroa. In the event of further challenges some arrangement would have to.be made involving the playing of matches among the challengers for the right to meet Thames. Mr. 11. Murray, referee* in the janior match last Saturday. reported having ordered a player off the field for disputing a decision, and insolence. After hearing both the referee's and player's versions of the affair, the chairman moved that the offending player be disqualified for one playing Saturday". The motion was carried on a show of hands. Messrs. Delamore, Lanuing and Bateman not voting.
