LORRY CAPSIZED.
TWO WOMEN INJURED. RETURNING FROM DANCE. AC'CIDEXT XEAR WHAXGAREI. (Ev Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAXGAREI, this day. While a party of twelve people, six Women and six men was returning from a dance at Hikurangi to Whangarei at 2 o'clock this morning, the lorry in which they were travelling ran off the metal. On recovering the tyre burst and the lorry overturned, throwing the occupants out. Mrs. E. Mann sustained a severe injury to her leg. Miss Gwen Wilson aiso was seriosuly injured. Some other members of the party are confined to bed with shock.
