The fixture will hring the season to a close in the North Island, and »« there will be nothing doinc in the south for the next two or three wt-eks after the Ashburton meeting to-morrow, it is expected the response made by ownert from all parts of the Dominion will result in a record list of acceptances being received to-day for the Auckland meetin?. The acceptances will Ik> published in a later edition of -.he " St-ar." which will be on the streets a few minutes after five o'clock.
