WELCOME NEWS FOR MINERS.
HIKURAXGI COAL CO.

WHANGAREI, this day.
Last week it was announced that, owing to the completion of a special contract, 38 men at the Hikurangi Coal Company's mine would be discharged today. The welcome announcement has just been made that the contract has been renewed, and the men will continue in employment.
