Dr. Helen Easterfield has been appointed to the position of house surgeon at the Oamaru Hospital. Dr. Easterfield is a daughter of Professor Easterfield, of Nelson, formerly of Wellington, and her sister, Dr. Theo Easterfield, is at the Grey Valley Hospital.
