WAIKATO WINTER SHOW. SECOND DAT. < OUXTRY SCHOOL CHILDREN VISIT HAMILTON. Beautiful weather greeted the second ;jy of the Waikato Winter Show, and .ill day long great crowds visited the • lairy exhibition, the butter and cheese exhibits being closely inspected, also the Toots came in for a good deal of attention. Special trains brought school children from Rotorua and the stations along that line. One lot of children were unfortunate. Those at the back of Xpatua were being brought to the station in a motor lorry, and when a few miles from the railway line the lorry got stuck I in the mud, and the kiddies missed the train. A very effective exhibit is in the Department of Agriculture stall, there are several glass tubes containing sample* of grass seeds in varying grades, and being in separate tubes, comparison . i* a simple matter.

Durinz yesterday the visiting dairv factory manager? were engaged in conference, and also several grading competition? were held in Toorak Chambers.
