W.Poyntoh, S.M., and Mr. Johns, J<P., charges against Charles Edward Reaming, Herbert Robinson and David piven, all of Patumahoe, were brought •f assaulting Richard William Horton, f>7 pulling him off his motor cycle, and with acting in a riotous and in*o!ting, manner, were dismissed on the of costs. "piit affair is a disgrace to the district, and equals a Sydney or Melbourne Awae," said Mr. Poynton, when confeting Charles Edward Learning, Goff Howard and Leslie Needham with waulting Horton at a dance at Mauku.
