DEPUTY-MAYOR APPOINTED.
ißy Telegraph.—Own Correspond int.) WHANGAREI, Monday. At a meeting of the Whangarei Borough Council to-night the Mayor proposed that Mr. E. G. W. Tibbeta should ba appointed deputy-mayor, and this course was adopted. Committees were then set up.
