FIVE MORE DETECTIVES.
TRANSFER TO AUCKIiAND.
DUE TO INCREASE IN CRDIE. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Police Commissioner announced to-day that owing to the increase in crime in Auckland he had arranged for the transfer there of five experienced police officers, namely, Detective-Sergeant Bickerdike and Detective Allan, from Christchurch; Detectives Hunt and Sinclair, from Wellington; and Detective Roycroft, from Dunedin.
