FELIX ENTERTAINERS.
An entertainment of charm and merit was held last night in St. Mary's Parish Hall by the Felix Entertainers, the object being for "Sweet Charity Sake," organised by Miss TJiddv Pliilcox. The packed house was full of enthusiasm for each individual artiste, the star honours falling to Miss B. Philcox. The dressing and lighting effects of each number were equal to many imported performances. Sweets were sold by pretty girls dressed as "Coons" in trousers and braces of red, white, and blue satin, white silk shirts and large pink plantation hats. The Mayor and Mayoress, Mrs. Campbell, attended the performance, the latter being presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers by little Valerie Macindoe. The following young artistes appeared: Misses Fee, Anderson, Howard, Horsley, Alison, Craig, J. and T. Macindoe, Shrewsbury, Lorrigan, C. and •N. Rainger and B. Wilson. The proj ceeds of the entertainment will be I devoted to the Plunket City Mission ! and Parish Hall.
