NEW CLUE.
Letter Relative to Trunk Murder. FORMER PRISONER WANTED. LONDON, May 15. In connection with the trunk murder mystery, a domestic servant who was a friend of the murdered woman, Mrs. Bonita, stated that the latter received a telegram on May 4 which read: "I am out, come and see me." This date corresponds with the time tne victim left the rooms at Chelsea when she was last seen alive. The police believe the murder was premeditated, in view of the fact that the trunk was purchased before the woman's death. The first theory, that the death ocurred at Brixton, is not strongly supported. At present the detectives are concentrating their efforts on the location of a man who was released from gaol last week.
