VIOLENT COLLISION.
MOTORISTS OJT HUTT ROAD. TWO CYCLISTS INJUKED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) . ' WELLINGTON, Sunday. A motor cycle which wae being driven towards Petone by Mr. Angus Welsh aged 20,, and Mr. Godfrey Dowsett, aged 19, sitting on the carrier, collided with a motor car on the Hutt Road this afternoon. The two men were found lying on the;road some distance away by another motorist shortly afterwards, an 4 although'the car was near by, its driver had disappeared. Both men were removed to the hospital, where. Mr. Welsh was found to be.suffering from injuries to , the ankle and shock. His companion had' received injuries to his head. The motor car and the cycle, wliich was almost under the car, were both badly damaged.
