Id spifp of Hie inclement wenther tliere was a pood attendance at the Auckland Oun Club's prounds on Saturday, when a series of matches was shot off. The first eeven-hlrd match was won by A. Hannigan (14yds). with 6 kills out of 7. The gecond prize went to F. 11. Seceombe (17yds>, with the possible of 7. The third inntch wns also won by F. II Seeeombe (18vd«», with 4 out of 5. A. E. Macredie (17yds) won the fourth match with the possible of 5. The high altitude:duck competition resulted in a win for A E. Macredie.' Two novelty events, for which two sucking pies had been donated to the rluh. were won by A. E. Murphy and A. 11. Pellow respectively.
