LINCOLN COLLEGE.
CONFERENCE SUCCESSFUL.
MINISTER'S OPINION
(By Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.)
WELLINGTON, this day.
The Minister of Agriculture, the Hop. 0. J. Hawken, is of the opinion that the recent conference at which the part which Lincoln College is to take in agricultural education was discussed will result in a good working arrangement with the New Zealand Agricultural University College. A report from Dr. Beakes, Director of Agriculture, and Dr. Marsden, secretary of the Board of Research, who conferred with the Lincoln College Board of Governors, is being re-submitted to the latter body, and, says the Minister, the moment it is finally approved both institution* can go ahead on their respective lines.
