Schneider Cup Entrant Tested by Hinckler. BRITAIN'S HOPE. (Received 10 a.in.) LONDON, May 9. Britain's hope of recapturing the ochneider Cup rests in a new seaplane called "The Crusader," preliminary tests ®* which have been secretly carried oat •t the request of the authorities by Mr. Bert Hinckler, the Australian airman. As a result of the tests, which are wing continued this week, there is every reason to expect that the Crusader will •ttain a speed of 250 miles per hoar. This is the chief reason for the delay in the start of Hinckler's projected flight to Australia. Thf Schneider Maritime Cup is the jorlds Derby for seaplanes.
