ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
WAIPA UNION. TE AWAMDTU, Monday. The usual meeting of the Management Committee of the Waipa Association Football Union was held last evening. The case of R. Edwards, of Arohena, who was ordered off the field " last Saturday for using obscene and threatening language to the referee, was dealt with. It was, decided, after hearing the evidence, to disqualify Edwards for the remainder of the season, and to inform the Rotorua Union accordingly. The protest by Ohaupo Juniors against G. Hagen (Korakonui) being a senior player was dismissed in -view of &■ reply from the Cambridge Union that Hagen was a junior while playing in that union in 1925.
