BOROUGH ASKS FOR SUBSIDY.

FEILDING, Monday,
A deputation headed by the Mayor, Mr. E. Fair, waited on the Hon. W. Dbwnie Stewart and suggested that the money spent by the Borough Council •a work for the relief of unemployment should be subsidised by the Government.
