GROWING SAFETY.
CIVIL AVIATION AT HOME. LONDON, April 17. For the second year in succession in Britain civilian aviation was carried out without an accident. It is stated in the Air Ministry's report that last year 16,775 passengers and 679 tons of poods were carried, compared with 11,193 passengers and 550 tons of goods in 1925. Since 1919 the mileage flown totalled 5,271.000. and fmir accidents have been recorded. At the present time there arc 12 light aeroplane clubs in Britain, and there are 58 privately-owned machines.
