MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
Maoriland Consolidated. —The lnnnnuor reports that driving hug heeu started north in No. 4 level at a point 663 feet from the entrance on the footwail of the reef. This reof is 20 feet wide ami is the Maoriland, which .vas left in the east wall of the old level for 475 feet, and is thus undeveloped for that distance. This reef was stoped for 132 feet in the intermediate level, which is 64 feet above No. 4 level and 70 feet below No. 3 level. The quartz at present is not of a payable nature, but as it is interlaced with favourable mineral may improve when driven upon.
