YOUTH INJURED BY GUNSHOT. MAX'S FOOT CUT BY AXE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, Sunday. James Phillips, a Maori, aged 17 years, of Waitao, nine miles from Tauranga, was admitted to the Tauranga Hospital yesterday suffering from injuries to the face and hand as the result of his gun accidentally discharging while lie was out shooting. Mr. Edward Kelly, of Mount Maunganui, was admitted to the Tauranga Hospital this evening suffering from serious injuriei to the foot caused by his axe slipping while he was cutting wood.
