PERSONAL VISIT.
Opposition Leader Arrives at New York. MET BY NOTABLES. ißeceived 10 n.m.) XKW YORK, April 15. Mr. Ramsay MneDonald and his daughter Jshbel. arrived by the Aquitania for an eleven days' personal visit to the United States. Mr. Walker, the Mayor of New York, and other notable citizens, met the boat at the quarantine station and escorted the liner to the pier. Mr. Mac Donald will first make an automobile tour of New Kngland, and then return to New York. He will then go to Washington for a few days to call upon President Coolidge. He will make two speeches in America.
The fir-t will he on April 21. on tb,' occasion of the «>nt]i anniversary of New York's Labour paper "Forward."
The second will l>e- on April 'JO at the annunl dinner of the Foreign Policy Association at the Waldorf -Astoria Hotel, the tojiie being "Foreign Relations.' 1
This is Mr. MneDonald's third visit to the United States. He will return to England during the hist week in April.
