Continuous heavy rain spoiled the holiday yesterday. The pleasure resorts were deserted and the Royal Show, which generally experiences a" record crowd, was only moderately attended.
pain was still-falling'at a late hour, with every appearance of continuing, and the outlook for the races to-niurrow was gloomy.
