£20,000 A YEAR WOMAN.
GENIUS FOR SELLING.
ROMANCE OF YOUNG WIFE.
Mrs. Blanche R. Green, of Yonkers, near New York, a comely married woman, is hailed to-day as "the highestsalaried woman in the world."
At a banquet given to her recently by her leading women commercial travellers they challenged any woman the world over to step forward and prove that she earned more than their guest of honour.
Fifteen years ago Mrs. Green, a young wife and mother, was thrown on her own resources by an accident which crippled her husband for life. She went to a corset manufacturer for a job. At the end of the first year she had broken all sales records.
She was made sales manageress, and built up an organisation of 3500 salesmen and women. The factory has been enlarged three times to supply the demands made by her genius for selling, and she is now in the enjoyment of a salary of £20,000 a year.
