(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MATAMATA, Thursday.
On a charge of negligently driving a motor car, a Matamata motor salesman, George W. Barker, was this morning fined £10. The charge arose out of a collision which occurred between two cars at Hinuera.
The magistrate, Mr. F. W. Platts, said in considering the endorsement of accused's license, he took into account his large family. He would order no endorsement under the circumstances.
