MARCH RETURNS. AN INCREASED TURNOVER. LONDON. April 12. The Board of Trade furnish the following returns of March trade compared with March. 1920: — Imports increased £6.G0.">.000, exports decreased £1.255.000, re-exports £1,314,000. The principal increases were:—Tmports: Grain and Hour £1.1.13.000. raw wool £2.407,000, oilsccils £1.301.000. iron and steel manufactures £1.51.5,000. Decreases— Imports: Rubber. £1.314.000. Exports: Cotton and varus manufactures, £2,832,000. These figures compare with previous March totals as follows: — 1025. 1020. 1027. Imports— £112,831.000 L106.5ir4.000 £113.5W,00f. In connection with the above figures the part played by the lowering of values in recent years must not be overlooked.
