The twenty-first annual feneral meeting of the South Auckland Rifle Association was held last evening. President Cornes (Waihi) said he was sorry there was a poor attendance of competitors, and exnres<od doubt whether such competitions should continue. The feclinsr of the meotuiff. however, was stronsrly in favour of keepine on. A resolution was carried to hold the next armnal meeting on the Waihi ran?e. Mr. J. O. Cornes was re-elected president for the fourteenth time. >r r . W. D T.ittleiohu vice-president for the tenth time, and Mr. H. B. Dale secretary for f he fourteenth time.
