SOONER BE LOCKED UP.
THAN LIVING THE WAY HE WAS. AN EARLY MORNING ARREST. "He says that he would sooner be locked up than living the way he was," said Mr. Edwards, the senior sergeant at the Police Court this morning when Thomas Andrew Hannah (34) came before Mr. Hunt ou a vagrancy charge. Hannah had been found at 4 a.m. to-day wandering about the streets. He had no money and nothing on him when taken into custody. Accused was remanded until Thursday next.
