AT HOME OF COMPASSION.
DISCOVERY AT MIDNIGHT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Hearing an infant crying outside at midnight, a sister on-duty at the Home of Compassion, Island Bay, went on to the verandah .and found a baby boy, tightly wrapped in a dirty shawl and an old window curtain. There were a bundle of baby's clothes and ai bottle beside it. but no note or clue as to the child's identity. The baby, which is about four months old, was suffering from exposure, but it was soon restored by the, r^^'^ttcntin" r\f fne qic*'"--
