THREE MEN ARRESTED.
ALLEGE HEFT OF CABLE. OXi: I;KFUSED BAIL. Three young men have been arrested, charged with the theft of 50 yards of electric cable, valued at £10, belonging to the Auckland Electric Power Board. They were John Siddens (17), Joseph Batcliffe (IS, and Athol Henry Deighton (18). As they had only been arrested this morning, the police asked for a remand until April 20. Ratcllffe and Deighton were allowed hail, £50 each, but Siddens, who is at l Present on probation, was refused his in the meantime, ~ _
