The engagement is announced of Miss Lavinia (Renee) May Crouchcr, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Crouclier. of Auckland, and George Philip Katun second son of Mr. XV. Eaton, of London. The engagement is announced of Mis* Florrie Cohen, youngest daughter of the late Albert E. Cohen, (for many years sub-editor of the "Star,'' Dunertin) to Mr. Alexander Henderson also of Dunedin The engagement is announced of Kitty, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tobias, of Devonport, to Abe, eldest son of Mrs. 1). Levin and the late Mr. Levin, of Auckland. An enjoyable evening was spent at the Jewish Club rooms, Wyndham Street, on Saturday, April 0. 100 guests being present.
