ADDINGTON TRAINING NOTES.

LOGAN PARK AND HOLLY BOY PLEASE. SEBISCA AND GREAT PETER IN FORM. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") CIIRISTCHURCH. Tuesday. The track was in capital order for training operations at Addington this morning. The weather was perfect and for the first time a lot of interesting work was done. Although few of the horses were tried out to their best speed, training was very interesting and kept a large crowd of spectators thoroughly interested. At times there were three or four work-outs going on at the same time, and the watch-holders had to distribute their work of timing. Mirie Dillon and Lady Wildwood (the latter in the saddle) were associated in a work-out of a mile. Both pacers went well and the time was good. The trotters Wee Olga and Audominion started off in front of the stand, and at the end of a miie the former was pulled off. At this point Merry Bingen joined Audominion and with more speed on went a further mile and nquarter. Audominion ran throughout with on y one mistake and Merry Bingen, who was well out from the rails, showed pleasing form. fete Peter and Bridget Galindo, the latter with \V. J. Tomkinson in the sulky, went little more than a mile and a-half. Both trotters moved in great style and were noc asked to do their best, although the time was better than is usually done over a distance in training. Sebisca, on the rails, had Great Peter for a companion, whilst Theseus 6tarted about fifty yards behind the pair. The speed was not fast for the first round, but part of tfie second round was done much faster. Theseus went throughout without any mistakes, which was quite surprising for him as he is a bad track horse. The Auckland pair gave a pleasing display. Talaro and Bonny Logan "worked* a fast mile. The former was on the outside and was driven by F. Holmes. The two pacers did well throughout, the distance, and were not driven out at the finish. Both appear to be well. t> T he t,« r .? t . tpr No ' lr mabal had the pacer 1 eter v\ilkms for a companion over a mile and a-half. the pacer going the last mile only Nourmahal had the rails and the a P t e °4 a spee°d StaSC ° aUSed thC horSCa t0 be b T Cst work -o»ts of the morning " V ?
