(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The High Commissioner's cable to the Department of Agriculture, dated April 9, is as follows: — Tallow.—The market is quiet, but steady. Present quotations are.—Mutton: Fine, 37/ per cwt; fair to good, 35/6 to 36/6; dark to dull. 33/6 to 34/6. Beef: Sweet and or mixed, 37/ to 40/; fair to good, 34/6 to 37./; dark to dull, 32/6 to 33/6. Mixed: Fair to pood, 34/6 to 36/6; dark to dull, 32/6 to 33/6. Gut. etc.: 30/ to 32/9. Hemp.—The market is firmer for all lard fibre on account of the somewhat better outlook.
