REVIEW OF SUCCESSFUL YEAR. (tßy Telepraph.— Own Oorr«-si><>n<lotii.> HAMILTOX. Tbumlar. The annual meeting of the Waikat-j Agrirnltural and Pastoral Aeeociation was held to-day, Mr. W. Newell presiding. The report and balance-sheet showed that, beginning the year with a defiri , , of £84, the association was in credit to the extent of £97. An amount of £1200 was allocated for prizes. The assets were shown as £9420. and the capital account at £31136 16/7. Extensive improvement* had been carried out at the showgrounds, involving an expenditure of approximately £3T»O. The Waikato Trotting Club had undertaken to contribute £50 toward the cost of the levelline work. The following officers were cjectrd: President. Mr. W. J. McKce: senior ric"president. Mr. T. Martin: junior vicepresident. Mr. T. Bellamy: treasurer. Mr. W. G. Park; auditor.'Mr. K. English. Mr. W. Newell, the retiring president, was elected to a vacancy on the general committee.
