"GOVERNMENT BROKE FAITH"
OPINION IN WAIKATO

The Waikato branch of the Farmers* Union yesterday expressed disapproval of the Government's policy regarding the Dairy Control Board. The following resplutibns were curried:—"That this meeting deprecates the action* of the Prime Minister and his Cabinet in connection with the Control Board, since it considers they have broken faith with the producers in not giving the board the necessary support to prove the success or otherwise of the board's poliqy" "That in view of the evidence produced by Mr. Grounds regarding the action of Mr. Stronach Patevson on the London agency of the board, the meeting demand Mr. Paterson's withdrawal and call upon producers generally to support the motion."
