MISHAP TO SOUTH EXPRESS.
BOGIE WHEELS DERAILED.
SLIGHT DELAY CAUSED.

The Main Trunk, express, which left Taumarunui for the south at 12.35 o'clock this morning, ran into a cow near Piriaka. The impact caused the two front bogie wheels to skid off the line.
The train was delayed 2~> minutes while the wheels were righted. No other damage was done, and the passengers were not injured.
