PRESENTATION.

Mr. A. \V. fJrcen. who f ( »r the past 10 years until recently, was manager of the Ivuukiira St«te Farm, was yesterday presented with nn illuminated address on behalf of the fanning community, the citizens of Hamilton and the Wiiikato district, as well as numerous friends in different part* of the Dominion. The presentation was made liy his Worship the Mayor (Mr. J. R. Fow), who referred to Mr. Green's thorough knowledge of farming and to tho great service ho had dono the district by tho way he had developed tho farm." In reply, Mr. Nrcen said he found it hard to leave Ruakura. as he hnd done a great deal to bring it to its prcseut condition. Among the signatories to the address were the Hon. J. A. FAREWELL AT ONEHUNGA.

The Rev. G. S. and Mrs. Cook wore entertained at a farewell serial held last night in the Methodist Hull, Onehunjm. Mr. A. J. Pople, senior circuit steward, presided over a large congregation, and during the evening, on their Iwhnlf, presented the guests with a nisc of stainless cutlery and a clock. The Rev. D. D. Scott (Presbyterian) and S. (irifllths (Methodist) dcljvcied short addresses and the choir rendered musical items.
