Despite the Hankow agreement and &e Nationalists' promise not to discriminate against British interests, reports from Hankow state that the boycott. which heretofore has been indiscriminate. is definitely turning against j the British. | Labour unions are promising death to anybody supplying food or necessities to • the British people. I The American Steam Company has been warned that it will receive similar treatment if it continues to evacuate j Britons.
