Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Robertson, accompanied by M'=Chandler, who have been on a motor trip to Cambridge and Raglan, have returned to Rotorua. Mrs. W. L. C'ampny, C'arnot Street, has returned from a visit to Waihi. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Tanner, Fenton Street, have returned from a holiday spent at Hotel Mon Desir. Takapuna. Mr. and Mrs. J. Allen and Miss M. Allen, of Sentinel Road, Heme Bay, are spending a month's holiday in Rotorua. Mrs. Arderson, t; Mt. Eden, is a guest at Arawa House. Miss Amy Holland, Auckland, is the guest of her brother, Judge Holland and Mrs. Holland, Carnot Street. Mrs. J. N. Woollams, of One Tree Hill, Auckland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. Geddes, -mohau Street. Miss Fentqn, Miss Betty Fenton and Miss LVsula Wijkie, whe have been staying at Waiwera House, have returned to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Brooker, Ruihi Street, are spending a holiday at Mount Maunganui.

On Saturday the Hotorua Sunshine League organised an enjoyable motor picnic to the beach at Mourea for the jnfantile paralysis patients at the King George V. Hospital.

A successful concert was given in the Government Gardens on Friday evening, under the auspices of the Rotorua Borough Council's Entertainment Committee. Items were given by Misses M. Laurenson and F. Steele, Messrs. Thomas and G. Walsh. Selections were also given on a gramophone worked bv electricity.
