CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND AT TAKAPUNA.

I wish to support the proposal of Mr. H. Matthews at the last meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council that the building known as "The Kiosk. - ' which is the property of the council at the foot of the Strand on Takapuna Beach, should he sold for removal, and that the section on which the building stands should, with the proceeds of the sale, be converted into a children's playground. What an attraction this would prove to our beautiful beach, where parents might come at any time while the little ones enjoyed themselves in the plavground to their hearts' content. TAMARIKI.
